Welcome. I’m glad you’ve found my practice and I encourage you to keep reading to learn more about my background, approach to therapy and what we may be able to accomplish together. You’ve already taken the first step to feeling better by reaching out for support. I know it’s not easy and I’m here to help.
Maybe you thought what you’re struggling with would just go away, get better with time or disappear if you ignored it long enough and it hasn’t. You might be feeling sad, anxious, alone, stressed, worried, misunderstood or overwhelmed. Or you’re dealing with something or someone that’s really stressful. Perhaps you want something different for yourself or your son/daughter, but you’re feeling lost, unsure how to do it or stuck. Maybe someone told you that you need to see a therapist or you’re just looking for a sounding board. It may be time to talk to someone on the outside to get a clearer sense of what’s going on.
I’d like the opportunity to help you feel happier, less stressed and in control of your life. I can provide you with support, acceptance, guidance, coping strategies, new ways of thinking and a safe space to talk about what’s going on for you. I have a genuine passion for helping others and am often complimented on engaging with people that are still on the fence about therapy. I believe talking helps.
